I love steel cut oatmeal. There’s something about this slow-cooking oatmeal with it’s rich, nutty flavor that drives my tastebuds insane. I love dressing up my oatmeal and experimenting with flavors. This morning I chose strawberries, almonds, and a dash of cinnamon. I built my oatmeal cup like a parfait by first throwing in some strawberries and almonds, then ladling on a layer of the thick oatmeal, finally spilling strawberries and almonds on top. For a final touch I added a dash of cinnamon. Morning yum!
