Detox For A Better Body: 3 Easy Detox Methods

Do you rely on energy drinks to get you through the day? Does your skin break out? Do you have unwanted weight you would like to get rid of? If you answered yes to any of these questions it’s time for a detox. Our bodies naturally detoxify though our liver, kidney, colon, lymph, and skin. The problem with this is that in today’s world a lot of stress is placed on our bodies. Sometimes more than our bodies can handle as a result of pollutants in the air, our diet, and the products we use on our bodies. This overload causes us to lose energy, feel sick, and our skin to break out. In order to help your body naturally detoxify there are many detoxification methods.  A detox will cleanse your body and help it function at its optimal level. The results are amazing. Detox Tea

Detox teas use herbs to help the body detox. Usually formulated with Milk Thistle, Burdock Root, and Dandelion Root. The milk thistle promotes liver cell regeneration, burdock root protects liver cells from damage, and dandelion will transport toxins out of the body. Detox teas can be found in most health food stores. Opt for certified organic teas that are formulated with the aforementioned herbs. Although, no special diet is needed for this cleanse I suggest consuming fresh fruits and vegetables more frequently. Drink water and limit the consumption of meat, wheat, dairy, and sugar.


Juice Cleanse

This cleanse involves consuming fresh fruit and vegetable drinks. It is designed to help the major organs in your body and help you lose weight. Using a juicer, vegetables and fruit juices are made fresh and approximately 16oz are consumed at least six times per day. The cleanse should last any where from 2-7 days for beginners. No solid foods should be eaten during this time. You should prep your body days before by limiting sugar, dairy, wheat, and meat consumption. Raw Food Cleanse

Eating only raw fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts, seeds and legumes while excluding all animal products from your diet will allow your liver and colon to detox. This alkaline diet is gentle on your system and allows your body to rest because it will not be working overtime to alkalize the acidic nature of your body.
